We are a rapidly growing NASSCOM 2009-listed IT-enabling company with footprint in four countries. For two decades now, we have provided our global clientele with a range of high-end IT services including migration support, system integration, and infrastructure management solutions. Equipped with two development centers located at Chennai, Kumaran Systems can be that one-stop-shop for every IT solution that your business demands. Kumaran has been ranked among the Top 500 global software companies (16th Annual Ranking by Software Magazine) and also among the Top 200 Indian software companies (3rd Annual Ranking by Dataquest).
Kumaran Systems was founded by a bunch of young professionals who were passionate about technology and its unlimited possibilities. What started off in 1990 as a product development company soon developed a twin focus on legacy migrations. With ground-breaking solutions to offer to the waiting world, Kumaran Systems achieved instant success. And soon, we went on to become the world leader in ORACLE migration solutions. And the rest is recorded history. Today, our tally shows over 1600 successful projects including legacy migrations and deployment of enterprise management solutions.
After completing several successful migration projects in ORACLE, Kumaran expanded its services to newer technology platforms. By the end of the 90s, Kumaran identified and carved a niche in the industry by developing semi-automated tools like Accell*Converter and GUI*Report Converter. By the turn of the century, we released tools like Y2K*Find and Y2K*Fix products to battle the crisis of the century, thereby bagging a few multi-million dollar projects.
We repositioned ourselves in 2007 to cater to the demands of our clientele in Web 2.0, SOA, WOA, Web Services and Mobile 2.0 Space. Soon, Kumaran also entered the market arena of Open source development and has since been a strong promoter of open source development and usage. Diversifying further, we also developed proficiency in the realms of application development, software testing, application maintenance and production support.
Responding to the rising requirements of our clientele, today we have restructured our functions into domain-specific SBUs, such as Banking, Telecom, Insurance, and IT. This move has optimized our efficacy and turn-around time, thereby delighting our customers. And we came to be perceived as the GenNext internet consulting leader.
